A message from the President of our Alumni Association:
On behalf of the Alpha Omicron Alumni Association (AOAA), I want to congratulate you on your decision to attend Southwestern. The AOAA includes close to 850 Southwestern Pike alumni, living and working throughout the world. Our goal is to support the Pike undergraduate chapter in any way we can and engage our alumni base with Pi Kappa Alpha and Southwestern.
Over the last five years, the AOAA has provided the undergraduate chapter with more than $4,000 annually to contribute towards the chapter’s leadership pursuits on campus, rush initiatives and fees associated with attending Pi Kappa Alpha’s annual leadership conferences, all through generous donations from Pike alumni. In addition to providing financial assistance, the undergraduate brothers have direct access to a wealth of academic and professional guidance from Pike alumni, as well as opportunities to network, find summer internships and post-graduate jobs.
This fall, The Alpha Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha will celebrate its 100th anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, the AOAA is working closely with the undergraduate chapter to host a Centennial Celebration during Homecoming Weekend 2010, open to Pike alumni, undergraduate members, parents and interested first-year men. This, I’m sure, will provide a great opportunity for you to meet Pike alumni and see first-hand how being a Pike is a lifelong experience.
The Alpha Omicron Alumni Association is dedicated to supporting undergraduate brothers who continue to be leaders, scholars, athletes and gentleman at Southwestern and providing them the resources they need to succeed after Southwestern. I encourage you to learn more about how Pi Kappa Alpha can add value to your Southwestern Experience and your life.
Sincerely,
Daniel Webb AO ’05 President – AOAA
